Mounting Public Fury Over Alleged Government Treason: “We Want Names, Not Chuck Schumer’s Opinions”
Washington, D.C. – The American public’s patience is wearing thin.
As Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer gave a press conference Tuesday, insisting the Biden administration remains “transparent and constitutionally sound,” voters across the political spectrum responded with a chorus of demands for accountability—and prosecutions—in what some are calling the biggest political betrayal in modern U.S. history.
The issue at the heart of the outrage? A rapidly growing scandal involving forged presidential signatures, classified briefings gone missing, and alleged Deep State interference in executive orders and national security decisions.
And the people want names.
“We don’t care about Schumer’s spin. We want to know who used the autopen. Who lied. Who signed off on this. Who knew. When they knew. And who helped cover it up,” wrote one X (formerly Twitter) user in a post that’s been shared over 50,000 times in 24 hours.
The Autopen Controversy: A Forgery or Bureaucratic Convenience?
At the center of the controversy is a now-infamous set of executive orders allegedly signed by President Biden during a period when he was reportedly under anesthesia following an unscheduled medical procedure in April. These orders, which expanded digital surveillance powers and redirected defense funding, were later found to have been “executed by proxy,” with the president’s signature authentically forged using an autopen.
According to a report by The Federalist, multiple officials inside the West Wing, including then-Chief of Staff Jeffrey Zients and White House Counsel Stuart Delery, were aware of the use of the autopen—but failed to inform the public or Congress.
This revelation triggered immediate bipartisan backlash.
“I don’t care who ordered it—if you’re using a mechanical pen to push policies behind the president’s back, that’s fraud, plain and simple,” said Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) on Fox News Sunday.
Where Is the Investigation?
Although an internal DOJ inquiry is reportedly underway, it remains unclear if criminal charges will be pursued.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) issued subpoenas last week for internal White House communications and has requested closed-door testimonies from five staffers involved in presidential logistics. Meanwhile, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) have renewed calls to form a special counsel to investigate potential treason.
“Someone decided the American people didn’t deserve to know the truth,” Gaetz said. “Someone decided to act like they were above the Constitution. That’s not a bureaucratic error. That’s a coup attempt.”
Chuck Schumer’s Response: Dismissive or Calculated?
During his press briefing, Sen. Schumer said the autopen matter was “being politicized by right-wing media” and urged Congress to “move on to real issues, like the economy and border reform.”
But for millions of Americans, the betrayal cuts deeper than party politics.
“Every day they delay justice, they insult our intelligence,” said Arizona trucker Mike Delgado in a TikTok video that’s gone viral. “This wasn’t just about paperwork. This was about lying to the American people and pretending it’s normal.”
Even among moderate Democrats, cracks are showing. A poll conducted by Gallup this week found that 61% of Americans—including 34% of registered Democrats—believe the federal government has ‘deliberately misled’ the public on major decisions in the past six months.
Calls for Criminal Prosecution Grow Louder
Former U.S. Attorney Brett Tolman warned on Newsmax that a criminal case could result if it’s proven that classified directives or defense authorizations were executed without lawful presidential oversight.
“If you forge a signature to deploy assets or shift military funds, that’s not only unethical—it could be seditious,” Tolman said.
Legal watchdog group Judicial Watch has filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request demanding internal memos tied to the executive orders in question. Their president, Tom Fitton, declared: “We’re not letting this die quietly.”
What’s Next: Impeachment? Indictments? Or Another Cover-Up?
With Congressional subpoenas looming and public anger boiling over, political analysts say the Biden administration may face an unprecedented reckoning over the summer. Some predict staff resignations; others warn of potential indictments before the 2026 midterms.
But many in the public aren’t waiting for official channels.
Thousands have joined digital campaigns under hashtags like #WhoUsedTheAutopen, #TreasonWatch, and #NameThemNow, demanding transparency.
And the message is clear:
“We want prosecutions, not press conferences. We want answers, not Chuck Schumer speeches. The Constitution wasn’t written to be skirted with a pen machine.”
