White House Border Czar Tom Homan stated on Monday that he has received calls from progressives in blue cities, asking Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to be present in blue cities to address illegal immigration.
“It’s daily,” Homan replied on the “Just the News, No Noise” television show when asked whether he receives calls from liberals asking him to report to cities. “I received requests this morning: ‘Come back to Boston. Come back to Chicago. We have more work to do in Rochester. Come to Seattle.'”
Homan was the acting director of ICE during President Donald Trump’s initial term in office and is the current “border czar” and is responsible for the U.S. borders and removing illegal migrants from the country.
“I receive those emails on a daily basis,” Homan said. “I had to close down my LinkedIn account because it’s just flooded. But individuals are calling out to the media, calling out to the White House. they want ICE action in their communities as well.”
He stated that the administration is ramping up to get more ICE agents into cities.”We’re putting teams on the ground right now,” he stated. “We’re adding the number of teams across the country. We’re going to flood the zone. So we’ll arrive sooner or later. So just wait it out. We’re coming.”
