Planned Parenthood published its 2023-2024 annual report on Monday, and it indicates that Planned Parenthood is still performing a record number of abortions.

The service numbers in this most recent annual report span October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023. This report is the first full accounting since the June 2022 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Dobbs v. Women’s Health Services overruling Roe v. Wade.

The report indicates Planned Parenthood conducted 402,230 abortions, or roughly 4 of every 10 abortions in the country, and abortions to prenatal care were in a ratio of 57 to 1.

“Planned Parenthood committed a record number of abortions and remains committed to abortion at any time and for any reason,” stated National Right to Life President Carol Tobias. “Abortion giant’s sole purpose to kill preborn children could not be more evident.

Tobias went on, “Instead of being ‘A Force for Hope,’ the country’s biggest abortion provider continues to do abortions at record levels, only providing a dead baby for a woman in need of help and hope.”

For the year ending June 30, 2024, Planned Parenthood received $2.026 billion in revenue making the abortion giant of the nation’s most lucrative “non-profits.

Planned Parenthood ceased performing abortion in certain states but clearly more than compensated by brokering assistance for women who traveled to states where abortion remained an option.

Of the more than $2 billion in revenue, $792.2 million (39%) of Planned Parenthood’s income was derived from taxpayers in the form of “Government Health Services Reimbursements & Grants.”

“Planned Parenthood’s annual report for the latest year reveals that the abortion behemoth continues to prioritize abortion over authentic pregnancy-related services,” commented Randall K. O’Bannon, Ph.D., director of Education and Research for National Right to Life, the right-to-life movement’s leading expert on the Planned Parenthood.

A majority of Planned Parenthood’s spending went to “medical services,” at $1.286 billion. It is not possible to determine how much of these costs were for doing abortions, as Planned Parenthood does not release these figures directly and the abortion prices can differ geographically at Planned Parenthood facilities. Furthermore, the prices of the various types of abortion differ depending on how far the unborn child is along when the abortion is performed, so even rough calculations are not possible.

Planned Parenthood’s yearly report also indicates that prenatal care and adoption referrals remain uncommon at Planned Parenthood:
